Berlin, September 02, 2020 – BayWa AG will use the Garancy IAM Suite for the user and rights management of 15,000 employees in the future. BayWa AG is a globally active group with the core segments Energy, Agriculture and Construction.
Since BayWa was no longer able to meet the increased requirements for flexibility and future security with the previously used authorization management system, it was faced with the challenge of finding a future-orientedidentity management solution.
From hiring to transfers to leaving, the Garancy IAM Suite enables effective management of employee authorizations, traceability of all changes and implementation of compliance-compliant processes in the company. BayWa can regularly check and recertify access rights based on different campaigns. Numerous reports and multidimensional analyses enable a complete audit of the authorization structures in the company and the identification of potential access risks.
“We have evaluated a variety of IAM platform providers. By using the Garancy IAM Suite from Beta Systems, we meet both current and future requirements for authorization management,” says Tobias Fausch, CIO of BayWa AG.
As a global player, BayWa AG develops leading solutions and valuable projects for the basic needs of nutrition, energy and construction. With core markets in southern Germany and Austria, BayWa AG has expanded strongly internationally in recent years as part of a growth strategy. The company is the largest agricultural trader in Germany and ranks among the leading international traders in agricultural commodities.
